International award winner:
Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Award-Small Hotel. 2007
“There were over 1700 nominations this year, a substantial increase on last year, and as ever, the judges had a difficult task selecting the winners and the highly commended. Competition is getting tougher each year, and responsible tourism is taking on the characteristics of a movement reflecting the diversity of our world’s environments and cultures. That diversity is reflected in the awards. What the winners have in common is a commitment to exercising their responsibility for making better places for people to live in and better places for people to visit.”
